Ways To Support Us
We are often stopped on the street by total strangers who ask “But how can I help support The Op?”. It’s always awkward because we are usually carrying groceries and while we don’t want to be rude, the ice cream is melting, so we decided to create this page to answer these pressing questions.
LET PEOPLE KNOW! - Share The Op with everyone you know! Let them know about The Breakdown, The Answers, The Images, or whatever it is you love about the site. Share us, buy billboards with our logo in Times Square, graffiti our name in the bathroom of whatever dive bar you frequent (OK, our lawyers have told us not to suggest that actually), and do whatever you’d like to get our info out there. That’s the simplest and bestest way you can help.
Get us into schools. Know a film professor? Send them a link. Know a film student? Ask them to share this with any clubs they are in, classes they are in, or to graffiti our name in the bathroom…..(Ok, we promised not to go there again, but you get the idea). If you have an idea where we can get our name out, email us.
Listen to The Podcast. Share The Podcast. RATE The Podcast, and most importantly, write a review on Apple podcasts about The Podcast! That goes a long way towards pushing us up the charts. Have an idea for a guest and a connection to them? Let us know!
Have old pictures from set or know someone who does? Email them to us and let us know any info you have about them so we can add them to The Way It Was.
Donate. While we don’t ask for anything from anyone beyond your undying loyalty and willingness to take up arms for the cause, if you want to help defray the costs of keeping this site going, we will never turn away a few shekels as we fund this site entirely on our own. Web costs do add up and to be blunt, feeding the magic reindeer is not getting any cheaper. So if that’s up your alley, hop on board and we will add your name to our supporters page!
Regardless of how you decide you can help, know that we appreciate you and your dedication to the Art of Visual Storytelling.
Thanks.
